Who We Are
“Families are the compass that guides us. They are the inspiration to reach great heights, and our comfort when we occasionally falter.” — Brad Henry

My family is the most important thing in my life since they have always supported, loved, and guided me. They have supported my dream to become a doctor since the day I told them over 8 years ago. They provide me with stability and a sense of belonging, and their support inspires me to follow my goals and conquer obstacles.
I have to say I feel completely supported by them and comfortable enough to tell them when I am unhappy or don't agree with something and they then try their best to solve the situation in my best interests.
Whenever I inform them about an interesting opportunity or suggestion they always go out of their way to research it. For example, we have started to gather the requirements for my medical school applications from now and they have found all the information for me and are willing to sit behind a computer screen for hours until they find the best options.Everything from summer courses, A level subjects, admission tests and exams to volunteering hours and online courses and internships. They don’t leave everything to me and try to lessen the workload as much as possible by putting it on them. My life is made more joyful by the bond we share because of our shared experiences, values, and traditions.
I appreciate every family, lunch, dinner and board game night .Most of all I am grateful that they are able to take me and my brother on overseas trips which have allowed us to widen our horizons and become more open minded. Whenever my family is happy, I am happy; whenever my family is sad , I am also sad.We are a unit of people that not only depend on each other for reassurance and support but also for advice. My family has shown me how to understand and make sense of the confusing world around me by teaching me morals and values that will remain with me for a lifetime.
They are essential to my happiness and personal development because they are a never-ending source of inspiration. I am grateful to them for raising me to be the person I am today. I truly believe they are the only people in my life that will alway want the best for me.
