By providing accurate knowledge and a range of perspectives, my aim is to enable people to make intelligent choices, achieve their objectives especially in the medical field, and enhance their quality of life by living their lives to the fullest.

To introduce myself and my interests better, I am including a brief summary of some recent medical advancements that interest me.

Medical Science

Current Medical Advancements: mRNA Vaccine Technology:

COVID-19 Vaccines: Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech's mRNA vaccines, among others, have been a huge success and have completely changed the field of vaccine development. Having lived through COVID-19 as a student, I thought it would be substantially relevant to include the vaccine that allowed students to return to school and continue their education. These 2 companies are currently working on personalised medicine, cancer immunotherapy, and other infectious diseases.

Editing Genes using CRISPR-Cas9:

An advancing society and advancing medical field means that gene tracing, mapping and editing are on the increase, becoming more effective every day. CRISPR technology developments are now improving the accuracy and accessibility of gene editing. Treatments for hereditary illnesses such as muscular dystrophy and sickle cell anaemia are being tested in clinical settings and trials.

Healthcare and Artificial Intelligence (AI):

AI is certainly a threat in multiple sectors including education and work. However, AI algorithms are actually really good news for medicine! They improve the precision of diagnostics, the forecasting of patient outcomes, and customising treatment procedures. AI is beneficial even in pathology, radiography, and the prediction of disease epidemics. This could be very useful for preventing a second COVID-19 situation but also could change medicine for the better.

Medical Science Research

Telemedicine:

We can all agree that the pandemic was a terrible experience that we never wish to relive but not everyone knows about its positive implications for the medical field.  The COVID-19 epidemic expedited telemedicine industry's acceptance and use. Due to the wide use of technology during COVID-19, telemedicine also gained popularity and people saw its advantage and use. Digital health technologies, remote consultations, and monitoring have made healthcare more accessible, particularly in underprivileged areas.

Remember, the beauty of life lies in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire. Embrace your passions, chase your dreams, and watch as the world unfolds before you in ways you could have never imagined.

Regenerative Health Care:

Stem Cell Therapy is on the rise: Developments in stem cell research are opening doors for regenerative medicine to treat illnesses like heart disease, Parkinson's disease, and spinal cord injury.
